Overview

Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Karkara, has teaching experience of about 45 years. The academic posts held by him with many renowned universities & educational institutions are President (Vice-Chancellor); Professor of Law; Director Professor and Director, Professor and Director; Professor & Dean and Professor and Director.
He was associated with University of Rajasthan as Professor and Head Department of Law and as Director Five Year Law Course.
He has been Research Associate of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi for five years and visited Calcutta University, Madras University and Delhi University for that purpose. He has supervised research leading to Ph.D. Degree in Law to twelve persons and three students are still registered with him.
Prof. G.S. Karkara is a prolific writer and has written 40 books on various law topics and revised two books. He has written 37 articles and research papers. He has organized 38 Seminars/ Conference /Workshops. He has been Resource Person at 28 seminars and attended 9 International Conferences.
He has delivered extension lectures on Internal Law at dozens of Universities in India and in foreign countries. He has taken a many projects of U.G.C., High Court of Rajasthan, Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and Government of India.
He was awarded Grahak Sewa Award, 1991, by Gujarat State Consumer Protection Centre at Bombay and Rajaya Purskar, 1999, by Ministry of Law and Company Affairs, Govt. of India.
