Western Rajasthan, the region in which university is situated has a traditional society. Still in many aspects discrimination between siblings is observed, whether in upbringing or access to education.
Girl Childs are deprived of their basic right to education , married at a young age, forced not to go for vocational or professional courses and if anyhow, they take admission and complete their courses then restricting them from moving out of Bikaner to pursue their careers
Without empowering the half of world’s population, we cannot imagine of a stable and prosperous world.
Education is the most powerful tool for ensuring women empowerment. Education not only empowers women but it can also help them to gain financial independence & strengthen their self esteem.
Also the governments in India have been talking of increasing Gross enrolment ratio in higher education, which has been 25-28% since 2010.
In HEI of Rajasthan, the enrollment of girls is comparatively less in the streams of Commerce & Management, Law and Agricultural science.
University believes that it is the duty of all responsible sections of society to contribute for empowering women.
Hence, University have an objective of not only encouraging more and more female students in its all programs but also to encourage female faculties to join its campus.
RNBGU thus acts as a platform where our women can learn, grow, develop & showcase their talent.
From 23.8 % female faculty members in year 2016-17 to 43.1% female faculty members in year 2020-2021, Around 30% of the Admin staff at university are females. This provide them a platform where they get an opportunity to show case their caliber.
One of the core objective of RNBGU since its inception, has been to actively participate in the process of women empowerment.
University offers a wide range of Scholarship. Any girl students, not falling in such categories are offered a 10% scholarship irrespective of class & creed.
The university campus has all amenities and facilities which are required for the safety of girls students, which includes-
24*7 CCTV surveillance.

Medical facilities with ambulance.
Separate hostel & Common room for girls.
The Internal Complaint Committee-ICC ensures zero tolerance for any incident of sexual harassment.
Through its state of craft ERP & LMS, the delivery of education has been made very interactive & interesting. By using these systems, girls students also develops skills needed to work on digital platform.
The women cell of the university plans an annual gender sensitization plan which includes those activities which encourages, educates and develop girl students to grow, and have access to vital information. These activities include, self defense workshops, medical checkups, knowledge on hygiene, seminars on legal and constitutional rights.
For faculty and staff members, university not only believes in simply providing employment, but also motivated the female faculty members to occupy the leadership positions at University.

Also University has a vision that in coming five years 50% of its leadership positions should be occupied by women.
University has also worked in the nearby community to encourage girl students to dream big and try to show them a way to fulfill that dream.
University through its Young Achiever Award campaign has rewarded best performing girl students of nearby schools. Young girls from various schools are invited at university’s expense. Training workshops are conducted for them, plantation activities are done & they also interact with students & faculty members.
The university also conducts legal aid camps in nearby villages on the legal rights of women.
For expanding its outreach activities, University has tied up with Rotary Aadhya, which is an all women club of Rotary Club Bikaner.
University has also been awarded by Rotary Club, Bikaner for its exemplary service to society.
For encouraging the girl students in decision making process, University motivates girl students to join various students forum. All co curricular activities are planned & executed by these clubs.
The percentage of female students at RNB Global University is very promising.
The percentage of female students among all programs in last five years has been above 43%.
In PG courses the percentage of female students has been above 54 % in last five years.
The percentage of girl students in professional courses clearly depicts that university has been able to attract more girls at its campus.
The placement data of University is also very promising. Out of total placements more than 44.4% placement is of girl students. This is significant achievement which will empower them in their life by gaining financial independence.
Out of total Startup’s initiated by the university students, 45 % are of females. The Incubation & Entrepreneurship Cell has provided Industry & Academia Mentorship to these girl students along with the seed money.
