We aim to set consistently new standards in the field of education by adopting the most modern and innovative techniques of curriculum designing. The policy for curriculum designing follows the basic rule of overall development of the students. The following are the highlights for Curriculum Designing of RNB Global University

Learning Centric Methodology

The syllabus is designed in such a way that the practical knowledge base of the learner is consolidated.  With theoretical knowledge it will also provide practical and industry know-how to the students. The University mission is to promote ‘True Learning’ and discourage ‘Rot Learning’. Use of tutorials, assignments, debates, quizzes, presentations, case-studies, projects, practical tests, viva-voice and many more modern tools  promote rapidly the learning quotient among the students.

Industry Integrated Syllabus

In order to enhance employability potentials of the students they are exposed to the working culture of different organizations and the same is stimulated in the classrooms and laboratories. This exercise prepares them better for their career prospects when  they have finished their courses. Their employability prospects improve through such industry integrated syllabus.

Clear Statement of Learning Objectives

The learning objectives are stated at the beginning of the classes so that the students are well aware of the learning goals. It is important that the students know in advance what way they are going to learn during the course and what are the outcomes of this learning and what they will be able to do after completing the course. These questions are targeted from the very beginning of the classes. The university also allows the students to attend a few classes of different subjects and then decide by themselves which subject suits their aptitude and interest. The first few classes are thus orientation classes and the teachers also explain the utility of their respective courses for the future and also explain the learning outcome of the courses.

Career Building Syllabus

The University designs the courses keeping in mind the ‘Career’ of the student as prime consideration. The emphasis of syllabus framing is to assist the students to reach their career goal. For example, the students who are pursuing CA or CS are offered subjects which would help them in their CA/CS examinations.  A common problem faced by B. Com. students pursuing CA is the lack of awareness they have about the subjects they ought to study in B. Com. Similarly, the University guides those students who are preparing for other competitive examinations.

Research Led Syllabus Designing

Research is the essence of learning. The University puts lot of emphasis on research and promotes research among the students and faculty members.  Every region and category of students face different learning challenges and needs. The University  conducts extensive research projects to identify these specific challenges and needs of the students and then designs the syllabus that should also be focused on recent research and professional practices of the industry.

Teaching Industry Specific Software

The University has entered into tie-ups with different software developers like SAP, Oracle, IBM and many others and invited them to launch their learning centers in the University Campus.  Various software programs are extensively used in the industry and students’ know- how to work on these   obviously increases their employability.

Practical Approach

University promotes ‘Learn by Doing’ methodology for the students to inculcate in them an aptitude for practical experience and has developed enough infrastructure to provide live experience to them with the facilities of well-equipped laboratories. The students are expected to learn their subjects by giving practical illustrations on related topic.

Holistic Approach

The guiding principle giving shape to the syllabus designing is based on the premise of ‘Providing Holistic Development’ to the students. The students will not only be developed academically but the University ever tries to foster the social and spiritual values also among the students. The strong motivation of our mentor and father figure hon’ble Dr. Ram Bajaj always keeps us alert about it and we experience a sense of gratification resulting from following the path shown by him.

We believe that “By educating the mind you develop a personality, by educating the soul you develop a human being but a comprehensive development of mind and soul builds the nation.”

Continuous Updation

The syllabus is updated on continuous basis keeping in view the feedback given by the industry experts, subject experts and renowned academicians. This  facilitates current transformational trend dissemination. The need of the industry should be closely integrated into the syllabus designing.
