Greetings, I am Raveena Kumawat, an Assistant Professor at RNB Global University in Bikaner. My academic journey commenced at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, where I secured my graduation degree. Subsequently, I completed both my master's and doctoral degrees from Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. My PhD research focuses on investigating the comparative performance of maize and wheat-based intercropping systems under both natural and organic farming practices. The objectives of my research were to study the effect of ZBNF and organic farming practices on the productivity of maize and wheat based cropping systems and to study the effect of treatments on soil health and economics of different cropping systems. Overall, my research aims to bridge the gap between traditional and organic farming practices by assessing their impact on intercropping systems involving maize and wheat, with the ultimate aim of promoting sustainable and productive agricultural practices. I have published around 5 Research papers in prestigious international and national journals and also published book chapters and articles. He have also attended various conferences and seminars.
