Overview
Graduated in 1976 from Kanpur University, obtained post graduate degree in Botany in 1978 and Ph. D. in 1984 from Jammu University. Also obtained degree of Master in Business Management in 2001 from IGNOU, New Delhi. After selection in Agriculture Research Services, joined as Scientist at ICAR- Central Potato Research Institute Shimla in 1986 where I worked on physiological and Biochemical aspects of potato. Subsequently, joined ICAR- Central Institute for Arid Horticulture, Bikaner in June, 1996 and continued up to 31st May, 2019. During this period, worked on the various aspects i.e. Growth and development, carbohydrate metabolism, Molecular characterization, processing of produce of arid Horticulture crops. In addition to this also worked as Chairman, Member and Member Secretary of various committees.
