Overview

Dr. Afroz Ahmad is completed a Master’s degree in Political Science from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (a Central University), Lucknow, and M.Phil-Ph.D in Security Studies, School of International Studies (SIS) Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, His research works both at M.Phil and Ph.D level equip him to undertake focused study and analysis of various aspects of terrorism and political violence in India and its neighborhood, with specialisation on Internal Security. He has evolved as a very dedicated scholar.  His core research interests include International Terrorism, Radicalization, State-sponsored terrorism, Security issues in South Asia, Terrorism in India, and the Indian federal system. Dr. Ahmad has published extensively, more than 10 research papers, on his research work. In addition, he has presented papers in national and international seminars and has been associated with research projects.
