Skill development

  • All programs ensure skill development in the form of major and minor projects, internships, industrial training, Project Based Learning, Moot Court, etc. All the laboratory-based and theory courses focus on skill development as a mandatory course outcome to ensure the development of domain-related skills in the students.
  • The university offers various vocational degree programs focused on vocational education like;
    • BA LLB, BBA LLB, and LLB, to mould future Lawyers.
    • B Com (H) graduates can work as business analysts, or financial analysts.
    • BBA graduates may be project managers or operation managers.
    • BCA & B Tech pass-outs are employed as software developers, systems analysts, web designers, and data scientists.
    • Students with B Sc (H) Agriculture degrees have many career options like; agriculture officer, rural development officer, farm manager, etc.
  • The University offers several value-based courses to inculcate positivity and values among the learners as mentioned below
    • Emotional Intelligence - Humanistic value
    • Business and Managerial Ethics - Ethical value
    • Basics of Indian Constitution - Constitutional awareness
    • Human Values and Professional Ethics - Universal human values
    • Understanding Gandhi - Truth (Satya), Righteous conduct (dharma), Peace (shanti), Love (prem), Nonviolence (ahimsa)
    • Understanding Sardar Patel, Panchkosh- Holistic Development of Personality, Indian Cultural and Civilization - Scientific temper, Citizenship values
    • Sports for Life, Yoga: Philosophy and Practice - Life-skills
  • There are mandatory Internships and Projects of 2/4 Credits in V and VI semesters of all the programs offered. Students opting for the fourth year will have a Dissertation/ Academic Project/Entrepreneurship of 6 credits in VII and VIII semesters.
  • All three Faculties of RNBGU organize International & National Conferences, HR, Finance, and Marketing Conclaves annually, inviting experienced dignitaries from Academia and Industries. Expert lectures from Industry experts are regularly conducted on current topics like; Artificial Intelligence and Future Opportunities”, Boosting Your Career with Digital Marketing, “Historical Perspective on Israel Hamas Conflict”, Financial Education Workshop, etc. Regular FDPs are organized to train faculty members on relevant topics like “Student Centric Pedagogies in Line with NEP 2020 and Global Competence Parameters”, “Qualitative Advancement in Research and NEP-2020”, etc.
  • The University offers skill oriented Value Added Certificate Courses in hybrid mode (Advanced Excel, Tally Essentials level 1-3, Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security, Data Science & Machine Learning using Python, etc.) and offline modes (Event Management, Contemporary Dance, Seed Production and Technology, Commercial Horticulture, Mushroom Production, etc.).
  • We have registered on the Skill India Portal of NSDC under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 (PMKVY 4.0) as a Skill Hub with 37 job roles. We have been allocated 240 targets for implementing training under PMKVY4.0.
  • The University is looking for the prospects of other skill orientation courses like; Life science, Media and Entertainment, Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Retail Management, Logistics, Healthcare, English Speaking Diploma, Waste Management.
  • The University regularly conducts educational trips to equip the students with the latest advancements in their field. The Law students had visit to Supreme Court, High Courts, Session Courts, Jails, Forensic labs, etc. The Science students visited the Central Institute of Arid Horticulture, National Camel Research Centre, Dairy Plants, Nurseries, etc. The students of BBA, MBA, B.Com (H) have visited to National Stock Exchange, Mumbai, Surat Garh Thermal Power Plant, and various Industries at Jaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, etc.
