E-Learning

  • The University has effectively made the switch to online teaching and learning methods by being proactive in responding to the obstacles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. The practice of LMS-based education in the University served as a key element in ensuring the seamless continuation of education during the pandemic. Another major factor in guaranteeing the smooth operation of online education has been the widespread availability of Wi-Fi on college campuses, which allows instructors and students to participate in virtual classrooms and interactive learning experiences without difficulty. The use of a variety of online platforms, Google Classrooms, Zoom webinars, etc., shows how adaptable and prepared the University is to use digital technology to support distance learning. The university has given students freedom and accessibility by embracing these many platforms, enabling them to participate in their studies no matter where they are physically located.
  • The university has state-of-the-art, well-equipped classrooms designed to facilitate an optimal learning environment. With 23 modern classrooms and 3 seminar halls, all furnished with advanced projectors and audiovisual systems, the university ensures a dynamic and engaging educational experience. The entire campus, including classrooms, seminar halls, laboratories, and tutorial rooms, is covered by high-speed Wi-Fi with a robust internet connection.
  • In line with contemporary education trends, the university has established a cutting-edge Lecture Capturing System (LCS), enabling the recording of high-quality video lectures and podcasts. These resources are readily accessible to students through the university’s Learning Management System (LMS) and YouTube channel, supporting flexible learning.
  • The campus is also equipped with approximately 156 computers dedicated to students’ learning, providing ample resources for students in the computer labs. The seminar halls are fully integrated with smart classroom technologies, enhancing both teaching and learning experiences.
  • Faculty members actively utilize various online platforms, such as Google Meet and Zoom, for virtual teaching, while students access instructional content via LMS. The university regularly organizes webinars on diverse topics and encourages faculty to initiate such events, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Moreover, the university actively engages in collaborative activities in both online and offline formats, supported by Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with other institutions and agencies. Faculty members are also encouraged to offer Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), promoting a blended learning approach that combines traditional and digital education methods.
  • The University offers value-added certificate courses, open to all students in a hybrid mode. These courses enhance professional efficiency in students, such as Advanced Excel, Tally Essentials (Level 1-3), Linguistics and Communication in English (Level 1-3), etc. Courses that focus on the Indian Knowledge System are also offered like; Introduction to Indian Philosophy, Vedic Maths Sutra: The Art of Indian Speed Calculation, Science and Technology in Ancient Indian Texts, Indian Musicology (Sangita Shastra), Traditional Knowledge System in India, Ancient Indian Wisdom: Spiritual Heritage Bharatanatyam and Classical Dance Forms, etc. in online and offline modes.
  • The university also motivates students to online learning through any MOOC platform like SWAYAM, NPTEL, etc. The University provides scholarships and mentorship to students.
