Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)

  • The University has got registered on the National Academic Depository (NAD) and is regularly uploading data on the portal. The degree data up to 2021 pass-out students has been uploaded. The mark sheets for the previous three years have been uploaded. The students are being encouraged to register on Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) through their Mentors.
  • The process of Academic Bank of Credits is maintained by RNBGU on its portal. RNBGU follows the flexible CBCS method where the students have enough choices in terms of Discipline Specific Elective courses, General Elective courses, Value Added courses, etc. to promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary learning. RNBGU has the framework to admit students to any program in the 1st / 2nd / 3rd year of a program (depending on the duration 50% of credits must be earned from RNBGU) with bridge courses offered in-house or via recognized MOOC platforms to fill the knowledge gap. The university has adopted multiple entry and exit patterns of the NEP-2020 UG curriculum.
  • RNBGU has MoUs with several International Institutes and Research organizations; Sustainable Management Development Institute (SDMI), France, Scientific Innovation Research Group, Beni-Suef University, Egypt, Wikifarmer, Greece, Tradepreneur Global Academic Platform, UK, etc to provide International exposure to the students. The university has signed a MoU with Acacia University, US for the possibility of a dual degree in MBA. Credit transfer guidelines have been framed, approved by the statutory body, and shared with students to facilitate the internationalization of education.
  • The university organizes regular FDPs on innovative teaching pedagogies, Research Methodology, etc. Faculties are encouraged to attend FDPs organized by other institutions like; AICTE Digital Creative Skills Workshops, FDP organized under MMMTTP, FDP and MOOC courses offered by SWAYAM, NPTEL, etc. The university provides financial assistance to faculty members to motivate them to attend these FDPs.
  • The NEP Committee at RNBGU ensures the implementation of the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) in the institution in view of NEP 2020. During the orientation programs, new students are sensitized for registration on ABC through a session. They are allocated faculty mentors, who help them for making their ABC account. The committee ensures regular uploading of student’s data on the NAD portal.
