Objective of the Conference

We, in india, have new horizons in the law due to fast pace of changing various principles, doctrines and theories in our country with the change in political parties in power and with change in ideologies.

India has seen the new Consumer Protection Act, 2019, giving way the concept of ‘defects in goods’ with the new doctrine ‘product liability‘ necessitating basic amendment in this law. The administrative concept of Director General, which prevails in MRTP Act, has been incorporated in this new law.

Intellectual property right needs the developed rules for regulating this new concept of earning wealth. The patents, trademarks, copyrights, geographical indication etc. needs punitive rules for their violation to save the modern Indians coming to new world of digitalization.

Persona: laws or various comrnunmes in India and the need of Common Civil Code need to be discussed, deliberated and recommended by the legal luminaries. India is a society having 'modern thanking' and 'old culture', so this branch of law has a tendency of opposition from one block or the other, as and when touched by law reformers.

Criminal Law of the country, like India, has to deal with new types of crimes mob-lynching and money-laundering. The society needs peaceful co-existence but some causes ofcrimes like, unemployment, poverty and easy-money etc., giving rise to various types of crimes are of necessity require to be dealt with.

The new business transactions development through internet trading, banking, digitalization required strict control in business laws. Demonetization, installment purchasing and online marketing has totally changes business environment in lndia.

Judiciary in India has always been active to protect environment due to industrial waste and pollution. The necessity of development, and that to fast pace, has caused a negative impact on the environment.
