One Day Webinar on Marketing 4.0

The RNB University organised a webinar on the topic ‘Marketing 4.0’ for School of Commerce and Management students by Guest Speaker Dr. Nitin Kumar Saxena. The objective of this activity was to impart new insights of digital marketing.

The webinar was started with a warm welcome of guest speaker and all the participants by Mr. Sunny Masand (Faculty of commerce and management Department).

The interaction started with journey of Marketing 1.0 to 4.0 that is from traditional way to digital marketing. He explained how digital marketing has evolved and presently useful to companies. He also explained how marketing has undergone a major shift since its early days, from being product-driven (1.0) to customer -centric (2.0) and ultimately, human-centric marketing (3.0). Marketing 4.0 is a marketing approach that combines online and offline interaction between companies and customers. The webinar was attended by nearly 85 students of the university. This webinar was interactive and informative for students as it was full of examples and practical application in present scenario and Students have also participated in full enthusiasm. The webinar concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sunny Masand.

Dr. Nitin Kr Saxena

Dr. Nitin Kr Saxena is having over 12 years of Industry and 2 years of Academia experience, Dr. Saxena has worked for companies like Vodafone, Reliance Communications, Idea Cellular, and HCL. Presently working as an Associate Professor –Marketing in Jaipuria School of Business. The practical insights and knowledge that he has gained in Industry help him in delivering the subjects with live and practical cases. His research interest is in areas of Digital Marketing, Brand Management, and Marketing Analytics. Dr. Saxena is the author of www.learnistan.com, a learning resource platform for students.

Recently Dr. Nitin Kr Saxena has been awarded as “Best Professor in Marketing Analytics” during ICBM-AMP Academics Excellence Award India. He has done PhD in Marketing and has done certification course on ‘Multivariate Data Analysis’ ‘Data Science’ Marketing Research from IIT Roorkee. Dr. Saxena has secured Gold Medal with all India 2nd rank in a Marketing Certification course from IIT Kanpur. He is also a certified Case Teaching specialist by Harvard Business Publishing in association with IIM Ahmedabad.
