Visit to "Village to understand the problems being encountered by the villagers & farmers Area-KHARA"

RNB Global University has organized a one-day(1½ Hrs.) visit on 13th March, 2020 to Village Khara, Bikaner as a part of Practical of the subject Fundamentals of Agriculture Extension Education-LAB.  For better learning, time to time field visits are equally rather more important than classroom study. Though for doing anything practically, its theoretical knowledge is very necessary. keeping in view this aspect, time to time field visits are arranged for the students.

On 13th March 2020, students of B.Sc. Hons(Agriculture) 4th semester visited Village Khara Bikaner between 2:00 P.M. to 3:40 P.M. students were informed priorly & equipped with a questionnaire for better understanding of the real situation of the village. Based on the following objectives :

1. Primary objective: To identify the problems related to education system in ‘Rural area’.

2. Secondary Objective: To Measure the Contribution of KVKs/NGOs in terms of extension of education in rural areas.

This Visit is based with reference to Fundamentals of Agriculture Extension Education LAB. This helps them to make the students aware about the problems facing by people residing in rural areas.

In the visit , various types of respondents were interacted with reference to the objectives like Farmers, small Business man, iron fabricators etc.. A discussion session was also held for the general queries of students related to the village & the education system in the village. The students took keen interest in the visit.

On 13th March 2020 students of B.Sc. Hons(Agriculture) 4th semester visited to village Khara, Bikaner between 2:00 P.M. to 3:40 P.M. Noon. They were informed timely regarding the visit & guided how to interact with the respondents. During interaction students were get aware about various issues like water problems, lack school & also their education system, roads etc. students were also aware about the problem of unemployment.

The response of the staff was very good. The students learnt many new things & enjoyed it.
