Introduction

The International Webinar on “New Age Leadership” is an initiative took by School of Commerce and Management, RNBGU to enhance the learnings of the students and enlighten them with international perspective. The international webinar was initiated by Mr. Shailendra Barath, Faculty Member School of Commerce and Management. Mr. Barath welcomed the guests, faculty members, and talked about the essence of the international webinar on ‘New Age Leadership’. 

Dr. Shashi Singhal, in the continuation also welcomed the guests and spoke about how leadership is changing with the changing era. She talked about how webinar is providing a platform to explore the inner strengths and developing traits for a dependable manager by enhancing the leadership skills are at the core of the webinar.

Significance of Webinar

In recent times the world has faced a lot of challenges, and one of the biggest challenge was there in terms of leadership of the any organization. Leaders encountered several issues which lead them transformation in their respective styles.

The webinar provided a platform to discuss about how leadership patterns are changing and what is to be done and how to manage the human resources in the turbulent times.  Various speakers gave key insight that how the new age managers and budding managers can manage and respond towards the business environmental challenges.

Objectives of Webinar

In the webinar, key speakers were, Dr. (Prof.) Raghuvir Singh Vice Chancellor, Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Dr. Lynne Richardson- Dean, Lapenta School of Business, Lona College, USA, Dr. Halia- Academic Dean, Quest University, Canada, Dr. Ghalia Boustani- Researcher Paris 1 Panthadon Sorbonne, Paris, France & Dr. Celia Shaznaz-Professor, Chair, IEEE WIE History Committee, Bangladesh. During the webinar, all the speakers expressed their point of view on the leadership. Lyne Richardson has shared many experiences with reference to her country & skills being taught by the institutions there, she also focused on innovative style as a new age leadership style.

Dr. Ghalia Boustani, talked about how leadership can be a marketing strategy for an organization. It is about, how good leadership can be one ingredient to enhance the brand of the organization.
