About the Organisers

The School of Law, RNB Global University, Bikaner (Rajasthan), established under Act No. 20 of 2015, is a State Private University recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. The School of Law offers integrated five-year law programmes, three-year LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. programmes in accordance with Bar Council of India norms. The University emphasizes experiential legal education through moot courts, internships, workshops, and practical training, aiming to develop advocacy skills, legal reasoning, and professional competence among law students.

Details of the Event

The 9th Seth Jagannath Bajaj Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2026 is a two-day national-level moot court competition organized by the Moot Court Society of the School of Law, RNB Global University. The competition is designed to provide a rigorous platform for law students across India to engage with contemporary legal issues through research, memorial drafting, oral advocacy, and courtroom simulations.

Eligibility

The competition is open to students pursuing three-year LL.B or five-year integrated Law programmes from any recognized law college or university in India. There is no restriction on the number of teams that may participate from a single institution.

Team Composition

Each team shall consist of three members, comprising two speakers and one researcher.

Registration and Submission Procedure

Interested teams must complete the registration through the prescribed Google Form

on or before 25 January 2026. The registration fee is ?499 per team. Teams opting for accommodation provided by the University shall pay an additional ?4,500 per team. After completing the payment, teams must email the proof of payment to mccrnb@rnbglobal.edu.in. Upon verification, a Team Code will be allotted. Soft copies of memorials must be submitted by email in both PDF and Word formats, followed by submission of hard copies at the registration desk on the day of the competition.

Fee Details

Registration Fee: ?499 per team (mandatory)
Accommodation Fee: ?4,500 per team (optional)
Total Fee with Accommodation: ?4,999 per team
The registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Winner: ?31,000 along with Certificate of Merit and Trophy
Runner-Up: ?11,000 along with Certificate of Merit and Trophy
Best Memorial (Appellant): ?5,000 with Certificate of Merit and Trophy
Best Memorial (Respondent): ?5,000 with Certificate of Merit and Trophy
Best Mooter: ?5,000 with Certificate of Merit and Trophy
Best Researcher: ?5,000 with Certificate of Merit and Trophy
All participants shall receive a Certificate of Participation.
