Guest Lecture on “Open-Source Software and DevOps Practices”

Guest Details: Mr. Jaipal Singh Rathore,

                         A DevOps and Cloud Engineer from Global IT Providers-Jaipur.

The objective of the guest lecture on "Open-Source Software and DevOps Practices" is to familiarize students with the growing relevance of open-source technologies in the software development industry. Through this session, students and faculty will gain insights into the principles of DevOps, continuous integration, and deployment practices. It aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and industry examples that demonstrate the effective use of open-source tools in enhancing software efficiency and teamwork in real-world scenarios.

By the end of the lecture, students and faculty will have a deeper understanding of the role of open-source software in modern development environments and the importance of DevOps methodologies in streamlining software delivery. Attendees was exposed to various tools and practices used in DevOps, which will aid in improving their academic projects and potentially apply in industry-related tasks. The session helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application in technology sectors.
