4th Seth Jagannath Bajaj Memorial RNBGU National Online Moot Court Competition

School of law is continuously organizing various extracurricular activities like National level Moot court Competition, Mock United Session, Mock Parliament and various seminars and conferences. In this series another milestone has been added by this 4th Seth Jagannath Bajaj Memorial RNBGU Online National Moot Court Competition in the history of law study in western Rajasthan. The moot proposition was based on Section 376 of Indian Penal Code & POCSO Act 2002.

Students of School of Law played the role of court clerk in various court rooms during the competition. The main role of court clerk was to assist both teams and Judges in the court room. They were responsible to show time play card during the session to participants, so that they could conclude their statement within stipulated time. Also, court clerk ensured the observance of all rules by speakers and researchers of both contesting teams. An optimum combination of senior and junior student was made in a court room.

 

On 29th January 2021 at 4 PM draw of lots and memorial exchange between various teams have been done via emails by the convener of the competition.

after that Saraswathi Vandana were performed by Shivani Panwar.

 

Dean School of law Professor G.S. karkara welcomed all the guests and participants and stated about the activities done in school of Law, RNB Global University, Bikaner.

 

Chief Guest of the ceremony Prof Dr. K. C. sunny formally announced the opening of this moot court competition. In his inaugural speech Prof Dr. K. C. sunny motivated the students to participate more and more in moot court competitions and other type of competitions also.

Student coordinator of the competition Sakshi Sankhla explained the rules of the competition to all teams.

Convener of the Moot court competition Mr. Ashok Prem delivered his vote of thanks and then collectively national anthem was sung by all participants students and faculty members.

To show gratitude towards our nation all persons sung the National Anthem.

Inaugural ceremony ended with a photo session.

 

Convener Mr. Ashok Prem announced the  results. Winner team was School of law (Christ Deemed to be University) Bengaluru (Karnataka). Runner Up team was Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, Patiala. Vikram Chandra Sekhar- from School of law (Christ Deemed to be University) Bengaluru (Karnataka) was declared Best Speaker. Award of Best Researcher was given to Akshaya B S from Symbiosis Law school, Hyderabad and award for was given to Best Memorial.

In the valedictory ceremony President & Dean School of Law, RNB Global University congratulated all the participants and winners & thanked all the Guests, Judges and participants.
