“DANDIYA BEATS”: Navratra Celebration

RNB Global University celebrated the colorful festival of Navratra on 28th September with great enthusiasm and vitality. The celebration started with official welcome address by professor Hans Raj Arora, in his address he highlighted the significance of this festival in Indian culture.
 
The dress code for the event was ethnic wear and traditional #Dandiya dress for the participants. The dance competition was divided into three rounds i.e. Garba, Dandiya and Prop. Mr. J.P. Soni, renowned choreographer, graced the event with his presence. The event was epitome of energy and enthusiasm, which transformed the campus into colourful canvas of celebration. Students dressed in traditional attire, sounds of dhol and the clapping of dandiya sticks made the whole environment positive and exuberant. Navratra tambola added special charm to celebration.
 
Various competitions were held and prizes were distributed like Ms. Ajoshweta Periwal (MBA-III) and Mr. Mahendra Singh Chauhan (BBA-V) won the first prize in Best Costume Female and Male Category while Ms. Deepika (MBA-I) and Mr. Mahendra Singh Chauhan (BBA-V) won the first Prize in Best Dancer Female and Male Category. Ms. Mitali Bhura (BBA-V) and Group members won the first Prize in Best Dance (Group) and Ms. Ajoshweta Periwal (MBA-III) won Best Decorated Dandiya Award.
 
It was a celebration of mirth and joviality bringing the entire campus, together on special occasion and helping everyone bond warmly bringing hidden talents to light. The other half of the evening was planned to sway the tired feet & rejuvenation was on the crest on the beats of DJ. For all RNBian's it was definitely a night to be remembered and cherish for the lifetime.
