The School of Law, RNB Global University, Bikaner successfully organized the 9th Seth Jagannath Bajaj Memorial RNBGU National Moot Court Competition – 2026 on 28 February and 1 March 2026 at the university campus. The national-level competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from several prestigious law universities and colleges across India, where students demonstrated exceptional legal knowledge, research ability, and advocacy skills.
Teams from reputed institutions including Banasthali Vidyapith; School of Law, Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner; Tantia University; Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur; Shahaji Law College, Kolhapur (Maharashtra); Government Law PG College, Bikaner; School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru; National Law School of India University, Bengaluru; Central University of Punjab, Bathinda; Modi University; BJS Rampuria Jain Law College; University of Allahabad; Gyan Vishi PG College, Bikaner; Government Law College, Sri Ganganagar; Guru Gobind Singh Law College, Gidderbaha; University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur; K.R. Mangalam University; Guru Kashi University; Shri Roopram Swami Law College; and SRM University, Delhi NCR participated in the competition.
After intense rounds of arguments and judicial deliberations, the team from Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur emerged as the Champion of the competition and was awarded a cash prize of ?31,000 along with a trophy and certificates. The winning team members included Navya Ahuja (Speaker I), Sargam Ahuja (Speaker II), and Simran Pawar (Researcher).
The Runner-up position was secured by the team from University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, which received a cash prize of ?11,000 along with a trophy and certificates. The team members were Keshav Narayan Harsh (Speaker I), Bhumika Khandelwal (Speaker II), and Kshitijveer Singh Chauhan (Researcher).
The awards for Best Memorial (Appellant) and Best Memorial (Respondent) were also awarded to Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, each carrying a cash prize of ?5,000 along with trophies and certificates. The Best Mooter Award was secured by a participant from School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, while the Best Researcher Award was conferred upon Nishant Suresh Patil from Shahaji Law College, Kolhapur (Maharashtra).
The valedictory session of the competition was held in a dignified atmosphere and was graced by Additional District and Sessions Judge Shri Anubhav Sidana and Shri Dhanpat Mali as the Chief Guests. In their address, they highlighted that moot court competitions play a crucial role in providing law students with practical exposure to judicial processes and help develop analytical reasoning, legal research, and effective advocacy skills.
The competition was convened by Dr. Ashok Prem, Head and Associate Professor, School of Law, RNB Global University, who expressed gratitude to the university administration, Registrar’s office, faculty members, and the student organizing committee for their support in making the event a grand success.
On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Anirudh Kaushik, Dean, School of Law and Arts, extended congratulations and appreciation to the Registrar, faculty members, and the organizing team for successfully hosting this prestigious national-level competition.
The event reflected the commitment of RNB Global University to promote experiential legal education, encourage advocacy skills among law students, and provide a national platform for academic excellence in the field of law.
