As the flock of generation next at RNB Global treads forward, the next milestone to cross before the first year of success and laurels ends with the term end exams is the Industrial and Excursion trips for all the batches to understand the practical aspects of the study courses.
Keeping pace with this the first excursion trip was planned and executed for the students of BBA to Delhi NCR, where they were accompanied by three faculty members.
The trip on the 20th of April 2016 featured a visit by the students to some of the exotic Malls in Delhi NCR where the footfall is of an appreciable nature. The aim was to study and understand consumer behaviour through Observatory Research and also the effort was made to record their reasons on paper with the help of Questionnaires framed by the students to map the consumer behaviour of people visiting these malls at random hours irrespective of the class. The Questionnaires were not subject to any kind of gender discretion.
The students approached people with confidence and without any apprehension. They were able to convince most to answer the questionnaires in a pleasing manner. Students even made a successful attempt and approached store managers of some of the stores that had maximum footfall, to have a small chat with them before they sat down to analyse their study and arrive at a conclusion.
They are now filing their reports and are to submit a complete project report on the Study of Consumer Behaviour for FMCG and visit to these malls.
After their research work was done, they also indulged in some leisure activities like visit to the Adventure Island, where they enjoyed to the fullest and in the end while returning they stated that such trips are welcome, since they give the students an opportunity to understand each other better, know the real meaning of team work, and understand that responsibility and wisdom go hand in hand. The personal interaction during the trip with their faculty members brought a change in the class rooms. The apprehension, the fear was gone and the endeavour of mentors was well understood by the students.
