With the beginning of the final semester for the MBA students of RNB Global University, the placement activities saw an upsurge. Besides the regular workshops and training session being held in view of preparing all the students for placements, the university also began campus drive for placements and internship of MBA II semester and BBA IV semester students. Suncore Microsystem, an IT service provider to various worldwide enterprises visited RNB Global University on 23rd January 2017 to select students for placements and internship. Students of MBA Sem IV, MBA Sem II, BBA Sem IV participated with full strength and vigour. It was a one day campus drive beginning with an interaction with the students and briefing them about their company as part of a pre placement talk. Dr. Verma, Head Talent Acquisition accompanied by his colleague briefed about the company and its working environment. He informed about the growth of the company in a short span of a decade, highlighting the vision of top management team and the contributions of a dedicated team of professionals in making them realize their goals. He further discussed the opportunity of growth available for fresh recruits while answering student queries.
The second session was an aptitude test conducted among the various student participants as per their specializations. The test was majorly based on the caselette provided to the students to be solved within the given period of two and a half hours. It consisted of situations related to major domains of marketing, HR and finance. A debriefing session was held to discuss the caselette and give feedback to the students about the same.
Students, who passed the aptitude test, appeared for personal interviews beginning with MBA IV for placements followed by MBA II and BBA IV for internships. Each interview lasted for about 12-15 minutes and the students enjoyed answering questions spanning from about self, about company, conceptual and application based questions, work experience to expectations from job etc. It was almost the end of the day when all rounds of the selection process were over. Dr. Verma appreciated the enthusiasm and conduct of all the students which a remained consistent since the beginning of the drive. He also acknowledged the hospitality extended to them and praised the efforts of the student coordinators namely Aarti Rathi, Rajshree Vyas, Manupriya Baid (MBA IV), Shivangi Goyal (BBA IV) in organizing the campus drive.
