Mr. Abhinav Singh delivered Guest Lecture on “Career Scope in Armed Forces”

A Guest lecture on “Career Scope in Armed Forces" for Science and Engineering students was organized on 22 November 2017 in which Mr. Abhinav Singh, 2nd in Command, Border Security Force, Sriganganar, shared his vast experience with the students. This lecture provided a rare opportunity for the students to gain an insight into the work and life of officers of the Indian military.
 
Mr. Singh started the session with the statement that “Being in the armed forces is not just a job; it is a way of life”. He also said that the Students of today are well-informed and the driving force of tomorrow so instead of blaming the system, you all should come together and mould the nation for a better tomorrow. The main idea behind this session was to give awareness to the youth that how they can have a complete career track in various fields.
 
He also highlighted the basic tips and strategies for success in UPSC examination. The session provided the platform to the students to communicate and interact with him which was followed by a question answer session, in which students got many of their career-related query answered.
 
It was indeed an eye-opening session for the students as it helped them to recognize the thrill and the sacrifice behind the life of Indian Army personnel. The students were highly enthusiastic and energetic while interacting with him. They expressed their desire to become part of the Indian Army.
