Objectives of Seminar:
To motivate students towards their studies in current situation of Covid 19 and online studies..
To create awareness among students about their career and future life.
To make realizing the students that only they are the designer of their own future.
The event started on time that is; at 10 AM. The Guest and audience were welcomed by Ms. Anjali Sharma B Sc V Sem Biotechnology. Then Ms Ayushi Rajvanshi briefed the audience about the vision of RNB Global University and about the objective of the Webinar from BSc V Sem Biotech. Ms Pooja Gill from B Sc Agri. II Semester, introduced our Resource person very nicely.
Lecture by Resource Person:
Tom Meyers delivered his presentation on the topic “How to futurize yourself to create a good life and GREAT future”
The tag line of the speaker is “Be good to yourself and to your future”. He started the talk by sharing the experiences of his own life. That how after facing too many failures he got into depression. How he came out those worst times and became successful author and motivating speaker. After giving his quite emotional at the beginning, and later on vibrant lecture, he resolved the queries of students patiently. In the last he shown a 30 min video, which was compiled by him with several messages from the dignitaries from all over the world, especially for our students. The 30-minute video contained messages from Bernard Moerman (Belgium), Maxine Cunningham (Canada), Christian Forstner (Germany), Victor Sarat Catalan (USA), Chirag Tripathi (India), Sylvia Gallusser (France - USA) and Mauricio Hernandez (Mexico).
Students asked their queries to the speaker, which he answered well and satisfied the students. After the interactive session, Ms. Kanika Gupta from BSc Biotech IV Sem gave a valedictory speech, in which she expressed extreme satisfaction and joy of attending this Seminar. The webinar ended with the vote of thanks from Dr. Dipali Gupta.
Tom Meyers (1970) was born in Antwerp, Belgium. After training to become a chef, he travelled the world and worked as a waiter and sommelier in hotels and Cunard's flagship, the 'Queen Elisabeth 2'.
