Objectives of Poster Presentation
To create ability of expression in students through graphics
Identify the use of poster as visual communication tool that disseminates information to large group of people
Identify an overview of advantages, purpose, design and content for posters for scientific session
Apply best practice for poster presentations and tips for success
Apply a poster sheet for an easy method of poster development and printing
Glimpse of Poster Presentation Competition:
The poster presentation competition was organized by School of Agriculture, RNBGU as a skill enhancement programme for students. The theme for the poster competition were
- Pollution: effect and solution
- Pesticide Pollution
- Bioengineering
- Vertical farming
- Seeds and Plants Heart of Agriculture
- Hydroponics
All the students of RNB Global University were invited for participation. Eight students were participated from the school of agriculture RNBGU. All the participants made posters according to theme. The oral presentation and explanation of poster by participants were excellent. Dr. Dipali Gupta, Dr. Desh Raj Choudhary and Mr. Kunal Chauhan were Judge in this competition. They selected winner and runner according to standard criteria. Three criteria for evaluation of poster were considered as
- Poster should relevance to theme
- Graphic of Poster
- Oral presentation
Miss Pratibha (B. Sc. Ag. Sem VIII) was selected as winner and Miss Vijaylata (B.Sc. Ag. Sem-VI) was selected as runner.
