RNB Global University has become an education hub amongst knowledge seekers & one of the best places to pursue higher #education. On regular basis RNBGU organizes numerous seminars & guest lectures on different topics & fields to impart new skills & knowledge amongst students.
On 20th August, 2016 an interactive #seminar on “Role & Importance of Manufacturing & Production in Industry” was held at RNBGU campus. Students were updated that GDP from Manufacturing in India increased to 4908.33 IND Billion in the first quarter of 2016 from 4337.69 IND Billion in the fourth quarter of 2015. GDP from Manufacturing in India averaged 4207.56 IND Billion from 2011 until 2016, reaching an all-time high of 5407.38 IND Billion in the second quarter of 2015 and a record low of 3455.83 IND Billion in the fourth quarter of 2011. After knowing these figures & facts students had an idea the role manufacturing & production plays in an Industry.
Students were amazed to know various causes & effects of Manufacturing & production at national level. For youngsters Manufacturing& Production was mostly seen as a process of just converting raw material into a product and related to labour laws etc. Through this session students became aware about the by-products, time management, cost management, 5 M’s, Quality control, Supply Chain and various other aspect in it.
At the end of the seminar students raised their questions to which the faculty replied cheerfully and gave valuable insights related to the sector.
