Seminar on "Implementation of CSR in India"

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to business practices involving initiatives that benefit society or operating a business in a manner that accounts for the social and environmental impact created by the business. A business's CSR can encompass a wide variety of tactics, from giving away a portion of a company's proceeds to charity, to implementing "greener" business operations, Environmental efforts, Ethical labour practices, Volunteering etc.

It is an important aspect which needs to be understood by future leaders, managers & entrepreneurs. To impart knowledge about Corporate Social Responsibility a Seminar “Implementation of CSR in India” was organized at RNB Global University on 20th August, 2016. The focus was on the strategies & implementation required to carry out the CSR activities in India. At the end students were more aware about why & what are responsibilities of corporate towards society and how CSR activities can help to create a brand image.
