RNB Celebrates World Photography Day

August 19 is observed as World Photography Day, which aims to inspire photographers across the planet to share a single photo with a simple purpose: to share their world with the world. On the occasion of World Photography Day, RNB Global University organized a photography competition for the students on the theme of “Nature at its best” and “Selfie” taken within last three months along with suitable caption. Students from all the classes registered their names for the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. More than 40 student participants were instructed to upload the same. Large Number of students shared their creativity in capturing the breathless moment for freezing the time and locking the momentum in their frame.

While photography is being redefined by smartphones and everyone fancies themselves as photographers, social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp seem to the most sought-after galleries and platforms for exhibiting their photography skills. The evaluation criterion was the maximum no. of face book likes for the attractiveness of the captions.

Mr. Aziz Bhutta Senior Photographer, National Rajasthan, was invited to judge the entries. He impressed with the creativity of the students and discussed technical know-how of photography with them.
