SCHOOL OF LAW, RNBGU, Bikaner organized the 1st State Level Moot Court Competition in Bikaner. The participation of different teams from different corners of the State was remarkable. The moot problem was all about Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and number of arguments have been raised by different teams from different viewpoint.
Justice Manak Mohta, Retd. Judge of Rajasthan High Court was the chief guest of the event. Dr. Vibha Sharma, Principal, Government Law College, Bikaner, Mr. Prem Kr. Agarwal, Retired Principal, Government Law College; Mr. Leeladhar Swami, Retired District and Session Judge, Shri Jitendra Singh Yadav, Retired District and Session Judge Shared their time to chair the different sessions of this event in making it a grand success.
The entire event was divided into two days in which Day 1 was scheduled for Preliminary Rounds followed by the Inauguration ceremony. Final rounds including semi finals and finals were held on 2nd day.
Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University, Jaipur Won the First Prize (Rs. 21,000 + Trophy + Certificate) and the team of Biyani Law College (Boys), Jaipur was the runner up (Rs. 11,000 + Trophy + Certificate) in the competition.
Mr. Yashpal Kumar, BBA, LL.B 1st Semester student of RNB Global University won the best researcher award (Rs. 2100 + Trophy + Certificate). Ms. Aastha Baid, student of LLB 3rd semester won the best speaker (female) award (Rs. 2100 + Trophy + Certificate) and Mr. Mahender Rana, Final Year student of Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University won the Best Speaker (Male) award in the competition. BJS Rampuria Jain Law College won the Best memorial award (Rs. 3100).
After completion of the final session, the program got followed by a valedictory session. Shri Jitendra Singh Yadav, Retired District and Session Judge Appraised the efforts of School Of Law, RNB Global University to conduct the 1st State level Moot Court Competition in Bikaner.
