Celebrating Vijay Diwas 2025

Vijay Diwas was solemnly celebrated at our University on Tuesday, 16th December 2025 to commemorate the historic victory of the Indian Armed Forces in the 1971 Indo-Pak War, which resulted in the liberation of East Pakistan and the creation of Bangladesh as an independent nation. The day stands as a symbol of courage, sacrifice and exemplary leadership displayed by the Indian Armed Forces.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Faculty members and students, who gathered to pay tribute to the brave soldiers and martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation. The programme began with a brief introduction highlighting the historical significance of Vijay Diwas and its importance in India’s military and diplomatic history.
