RNB Global University students, along with the faculty members attended the NSE Investor Fair. Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Member of Parliament, Chief Guest of the Function, talked about the emerging trends of the capital market and highlighted the role of various regulatory bodies like RBI, SEBI and IRDA in the regulation, monitoring of various sectors of the economy and various policies relating to SME start-ups being initiated by the Government of India.
The Session was followed by the Panel Discussion in which the student’s acquired knowledge on the emerging trends of new enterprises and start-ups being established in the economy and their fund raising issues. They learnt the technical aspects of listing an enterprise either on the main board of NSE or for new start-ups on NSE Emerge (SME board of NSE) including the capital requirements, initial listing obligations on the Emerge. The session includes lectures on 'Overview of the Exchange', 'Capital Markets', 'Derivative Markets' and 'NSE Academy's Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM)'. In this session, the students learn about stock exchange structure, its operations, products traded on it and so on. They also learn about NCFM certification which not only expands their knowledge base, but also improves their career prospects.
