Virtual Orientation Program-2021: RNBian’s Welcomed the New Batch of Students

RNB Global University welcomed its new batch of students by conducting a one day orientation programme scheduled on 15 Sept. 2021. The main objective of this program was to lay the foundation for the new students and acclimatize them with the systems, structures and manners of the University. The program was also an opportunity for the new students to interact with each other and with the present students, faculty members, staff and officials of the university. It was full of mirth and joviality helping everyone bond warmly and bringing hidden talents to the light. Students of SOCM (MBA-III)- Puneet Vyas, Lavesh Sethia ,Rani Puja, Poorva Vyas and Komal Agarwal were the organizers under the guidance of Professor Dr.Manjoo Saraswat with the team of faculty members.

The Event started on time in which the President & faculty members from all Schools of the University. Inaugural Session, Welcome Address, introductory video related to university was quite effective. Students were made aware about-registration procedure, examination system & academic pattern of the university, so that they can become familiar about university & be comfortable to be adjust in the new environment.

In the orientation programme Mr. Punnet Vyas MBA III Sem. student gave a brief about the orientation programme so that the students become aware about the program schedule of the Orientation Programme.

Academic briefing was given by Dr. Pallav Goswami, Asst Prof, SOCM in which the new students were made aware about pedagogy of teaching, assignments etc. & its importance in academics. Students were also acquaintained about various clubs of RNB & the procedure to be a part of those club; information about Online Payment system E Transaction SBI Collect by Ms. Komal Agarwal MBA-III Sem student. During the orientation programme the students were also made aware about Library rules by Mr. Sandeep Saxena , Asst Prof, SOCM Examination System by Dr. Manjoo Saraswat & ERP-LMS by Mr. Kailash Pareek Asst Prof,SOET.

Information about student helpdesk ,the one point contact between university and students , the procedure of utilizing this platform, its dos and donts were shared by Dr. Deepali Malodiya Asst. Prof. SOCM. She also briefed about importance of attendance & the attendance criteria to be followed at the RNBGU. Ms. Poorva Vyas MBA-III Sem presented an introduction of all faculty members

At end of the programme the Students were acquainted with life at the university Annual Fest “Inspire” and Annual Sports Fest “Spree” Life beyond Academics including hostel life etc., through videos prepared by the students. Internships & Placement efforts of the university were shared by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma,Prof ,SOCM .In the online Alumni interaction ,Mr Shubham Patra ,MBA alumni shared heartwarming memories and lessons learnt such as responsibility, punctuality, communicating in English fluently etc., at the University.
