RNBGU proudly observed Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti 2025 on 14th November 2025 in the Seminar Hall, remembering the extraordinary tribal freedom fighter, reformer, and national icon who dedicated his life to protecting the rights, culture, and dignity of tribal communities.
About Birsa Munda Ji:
Born on 15th November 1875 in Ulihatu, Birsa Munda emerged as a visionary leader who led the historic Ulgulan movement against British exploitation. His teachings on courage, unity, self-respect, and social reform continue to inspire generations. Revered as “Dharti Aaba” (Father of the Earth), his legacy remains timeless.
Event Highlights:
• Address by Dr. Bajrang Singh Rathore (Dean Academics) and Dr. Bharat Kumar Jajra, reflecting on Birsa Munda’s life, struggles, and impact
• Documentary screening showcasing his journey, leadership, and unwavering fight for justice
