Eagles-XI beat Spartans –XI in a Friendly Cricket Match

A friendly 10 over cricket match was played between the Spartans-XI (BSc-I, BCA-I and B.Tech-I Semester) and Eagles-XI (Students of B.Sc V, B.Tech-III and BCA-III Semester) of School of Basic and Applied Sciences on 14th October 2017. The match was played on beautiful playground of RNB Global University in presence of a large number of students and staff.

The match enthralled the spectators and the players alike and even the scorching heat could not dampen the spirit and enthusiasm. Both the teams made utmost efforts to win the match by showing their skill in batting and bowling. Winning the toss, Eagles-XI elected to bat first. Mr. Mahendra Singh of Eagles-XI team not only proved their mettle but also ensured that there was never a dull moment in the match.

Eagles-XI emerged as the winners of the match and won by 2 runs. Mahendra Singh of B.Sc-I semester was the Man of the Match with 22 runs and 2 Wickets. The match was indeed a very closely fought match with a nail biting finish.

The entire atmosphere reverberated with the collective sighs and applause from the audience. The match generated huge enthusiasm and excitement in the spectators present in the ground.
