Session on Career & Startup Opportunities in Yoga by University Alumni

A sSpecial session on Career and Startup Opportunities in Yoga was organized by RNB Global University on 10/03/25, Monday. The session aimed to educate students about the various career paths available in yoga, including professional teaching, therapy, research, and entrepreneurship. It also focused on the growing demand for yoga worldwide and how young professionals can tap into this booming industry. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Shivangi Goyal, an alumni of the MBA (2015-21) batch. She is currently running her own yoga startup and working as a professional yoga trainer in Jaipur. She shared her journey, challenges, and insights on building a career in yoga.

The speakers highlighted that yoga is no longer just a fitness activity but a multi-billion-dollar global industry. With increasing awareness of holistic health, job opportunities are expanding in areas such as:  Professional Yoga Instruction (Studios, Retreats, Corporate Wellness), Yoga Therapy (Healing for Mental & Physical Health), Academic & Research Fields (Yoga Psychology, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy), Yoga Content Creation (Online Courses, Social Media Influencing).

The session emphasized that aspiring entrepreneurs could create successful businesses in yoga, such as: Opening Yoga Studios & Wellness Centers, Launching Online Yoga Training Platforms, Developing Yoga Accessories & Equipment Brands, Writing Books or Developing Mobile Apps on Yoga and Meditation
