RNB Global University organised a round table pre budget discussion on Railway Budget 2016. This discussion was moderated by Dr. S. K Roy, Dean School of Commerce and Management and Coordinated by Dr. Kiran Pareek. Students from MBA, BBA and B.Com actively participated in this round table discussion.
The following points emerged after the session:
There should be modernisation and transformation of Indian Railway tracks and signal system.
Basic needs like; safety, security, cleanness, hygiene and maintenance of Indian Railway station should be dealt with on priority basis.
There should be crowd control system at the Indian Railway platforms
For development of the required infrastructure, if required Foreign Direct Investment can also be considered. Foreign Direct Investment in modernization of tracks and infrastructure may be a good option to start with.
