Significance of Webinar

Entrepreneurship has always been a topic that is most talked about among the students. After the pandemic shook the country the concept of forced entrepreneurship is getting its momentum. The Webinar was aimed to give a brief about the how to begin the entrepreneurial journey. The webinar intended to let students to know the basics of staring an entrepreneurial venture. Since it is important to have a practical understanding that how business gets started.

Objectives of Webinar

1. To develop the understanding towards the entrepreneurship.
2. To the development of skills or attributes that enable the realization of opportunity.
3. To develop some level of entrepreneurial competencies.

Insight on Program

Mr. Fanil Zakhariya told about the French and Sanskrit meaning of word entrepreneur and how your grandpa motivated you to be courageous. And also the most important thing that being entrepreneur means doing different thing and doing things differently.

In this session Mr. Fanil Zakhariya told about the research where the different factors like no motivation and lack of support, stops a person to being an entrepreneur. He told us about Mr. Ritesh Agarwal about how he kick-started his entrepreneurship and created a very renown company OYO hotels. And also about Mr. Phanindra Sama who created RedBus.

He also told the students about the alphabetical meaning of entrepreneur adjoining his own experience with each alphabet. He shared various news regarding start-ups which emerged during the covid period in India.

Mr. Fanil Zakhariya is a Serial Entrepreneur who carries 11+ years of Professional Experience with a blend of doing Audits for 14+ varied industries and building his own Venture right from scratch into the Indian Startup Ecosystem. Currently, he manages his 4 decades-old family business that specializes in tours and creates a memorable travel experience for people from all walks of life.

Being an Entrepreneur he helps students and budding entrepreneurs to kickstart their journey right from the ideation stage to scaling up with the help of learnings & experience with the Indian startup ecosystem.

During the Pandemic, he has rendered talks on 'Opportunities & Challenges for Entrepreneurs Post Covid' in various Colleges & Universities across India and has inspired 1500+ students to take up entrepreneurship as a career choice.
