November 6,2025. This event will be conducted by RNB Global University and is aimed at educating

school students in Village Husansar about the importance and benefits of digital literacy,

The session will cover basic computer skills, safe internet usage, and the significance of digital

education in today's world.

About the Event:

The Digital Literacy Awareness event is designed to equip students with essential digital skills and

knowledge. By participating in this event, students will gain valuable insights into the digital world,

learning how to navigate the internet safely and effectively.

The program is an initiative to bridge the digital divide and empower the younger generation with

the tools they need for a better future.

Digital Literacy Awareness event successfully fulfilled its objective of empowering students with essential digital skills and foundational knowledge needed in today’s technology-driven world. Throughout the session, students were introduced to key concepts of digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible technology usage.

Activities Conducted During the Event

To make the session engaging and practical, the following activities were conducted:

Interactive Presentation on Digital Literacy

Students were given a clear overview of what digital literacy means, its importance, and how digital skills influence education, career opportunities, and daily life.

Hands-On Demonstration of Basic Computer Operations

Participants practiced using essential tools such as operating systems, basic typing skills, file handling, and understanding common software applications.

Safe Internet Usage Workshop

A step-by-step demonstration was conducted on:

How to create strong passwords, Identifying fake websites and online scams, Responsible use of social media, Avoiding cyberbullying and reporting unsafe behaviour, Practical Activity on Using Search Engines Effectively, Students were guided on how to search for information online, evaluate the credibility of websites, and use digital content ethically.

Demonstration of Online Government & Educational Services, The resource persons showed how to access services such as:

Online forms, Digital payments, Online learning platforms, E-governance portals
