Tree Plantation Drive at RNBGU

To celebrate the onset of monsoons and in order to foster the importance of forest, biodiversity and conservation of ecosystem, RNB Global University in association with Rotary Club Aadhya, Bikaner, organized a plantation drive at the University Campus. Over 500 saplings were planted by the students, Staff members of RNB Global University and Rotary Club Aadhya officials.

Staff members of RNBGU actively participated in the programme by planting tree saplings includes fruit bearing, flower bearing and shade bearing varieties to develop a healthy, eco-friendly environment in the University campus. Students not only planted these young saplings but also volunteered to nurture them till the time they get firmly rooted in the ground. The students gained an invaluable experience from this small expedition. They gained knowledge about the different species of plants and also got to know about the procedure of planting trees. The students displayed exemplary enthusiasm in contributing towards this important environmental cause.

One can see the success of previous year's plantation drives inside the University campus with the plants having grown sizably tall. Tree planting event connected the students to the benefits of trees and fostered environmental sensitivity in them. It also brought them closer to the environment.
