Event on Plant for the Planet Community Tree Plantation at Gram panchayat Khara
Green Mission in Action! The “Plant for the Planet” community tree plantation event took place on August 4, 2025, at Gram Panchayat Khara, Bikaner, with enthusiastic participation from B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Semester III and V students, under the guidance of faculty coordinators Mr. Vijay Khanna and Mr. Rahul Sharma. From 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, students planted native species in degraded areas, promoting ecological awareness, biodiversity restoration, and climate resilience, while fostering community engagement and hands-on learning in sustainable land management.
