To welcome the fresh talent to the campus, RNB Global University organized a three days orientation program-2018 which began with lightening of lamps by the students of MBA-Final Year. The program aimed to make new students get acquainted to university and its various working units thus presenting an interesting glimpse into the university world.
Dr. Mahendra Ghadoliya, Registrar, RNBGU, welcomed the new students with his inspiring words about development and success that RNBGU has achieved during previous academic years. Dr. Manjoo Saraswat, Dy. Registrar gave brief introduction of the University and introduced the various activities to be held in the three days orientation program. To make the students acquainted with University, Session on brief introduction of the University, Anti Ragging with special reference to mandate issued by Govt of India on Ragging, Registration process, Concepts of various forums, Online Payment system with special reference to the SB collect and introduction to faculty members of various schools of RNBGU, Examination rules & Regulations, Library & Books; Teaching & Tutoring; Sports & Culture events, mile stones RNBGU has achieved with constant pursuance of excellence and many other campus resources were briefed by the faculty members. As it is a residential campus, the hostel rules and security of students plays a major role in academic performance of students, which was well elaborated and explained to the students.
The event was also a fun filled experience for the new students which was embedded by team based small indoor games like quiz, build words, skits and ice breaking session. As this was an opportunity to discover new talents; the student’s participated gay abandon. They were encouraged to be creative, to make new friends and to explore copious activities. It was an event to discover aesthetic and creative sides of the students. In the session of the programme, concept of mentoring was also introduced to the students. Accordingly, list of a mentor and students allotted to them was announced. Students were suggested to keep on interacting with mentor about their academic, social and hostel related issues for better grooming of their ward.
Such events really provides an opportunity for new students to learn about the new environment and build a network of resources that will help students and their parents to start their new academic journey in better manner on the right path.
