Introduction

Library is the heart of any institution. It supports process of education through providing required reading material (Print + Electronic) to the user and open the doors to the wide world of knowledge which encourage reading for gain of knowledge and pleasure stimulates the students to obtain, evaluate and recognize knowledge.

Library Automation (LMS)

Library automation, with the name of rnbconnect.rnbglobal.edu.in, is fully automated on ERP by TCS-ion and is the use of data processing machines (computer) to carry out traditional library activities such as acquisitions, cataloguing, circulation, serial control, and other library related activities.

Library Infrastructure

The central library facility spread in multiple sections, such as-

• Newspapers & Magazines
• Journals (Print & Online)
• Digital Library,
• Reference Sections,
• Text Books,
• E-journals & E-books,
• Project & Internship reports,
• Collection of books written by faculty of RNBGU,
• Digitalization facilities.

The library has 8181 books, 1425 Reference books, 1364 journals, various newspapers in both Hindi & English medium. The library has spacious reading room where in the students and staff may go through the books, periodicals, newspapers, magazine, and various journal. Back volumes of journals are also available. All the units in the library are computerized. Student and staff are issued card for getting the books issued from the library. Each book is Bar Coded and scanned so there is no delay in issuing the books to the student and staff. Book can also be reserved by the students online. Books are purchased under approval of Deans. Indents are acquired from the in-charge of all departments.

Digital Library

Digital Library has 16 computer including e-books, e-journals, such as-

• The central Library have facility of DELNET, INFLIBNET, e-Shodhshudhi, and e-Shodhganga.
• Since inception, DELNET was subscribed with the objective of sharing it with the students and faculty for gaining more knowledge and information.
• URKUND as plagiarism checking software provided to the researchers and faculties for their research works in library.
