National Debate Competition-2024

Location:- RNB Global University

National Debate Competition 2024 – Hosted by the School of Law, RNB Global University!

We are pleased to announce that the School of Law, RNB Global University, will be organizing a National Debate Competition on 14th December 2024. The event will be held online, providing a platform for students to showcase their debating skills on a relevant and thought-provoking topic.

Debate Motion:

"This House believes that the United Nations Organization has been effective in combating global conflicts."

Event Highlights:

  • Awards:

·         Winner Team: 5,100 + Certificate

·         Runner-Up Team: 3,100 + Certificate

·         Best Speaker (In Favor of Motion): 2,100 + Certificate

·         Best Speaker (Against the Motion): 2,100 + Certificate

  • Participation Certificate for all participants

Event Details:

  • Date & Time: 14th December 2024, 10:00 AM

  • Registration Fee: 500 per team
  • Last Date for Registration: 9th December 2024

Eligibility:

All Schools of RNBGU are invited to participate, with each department eligible to send up to Two Teams. Each team must consist of Two Students, with one speaker supporting the motion and the other opposing it.

Competition Format:

  • The debate will be conducted in Two Rounds: Preliminary and Final.
  • Each participant will have 5 Minutes to present their arguments.
  • Judges will include experts from law, political science, and other relevant fields.

Important Notes:

  • Participants must use formal language and attire.
  • The competition will be conducted in English or Hindi.
  • Use of foul language or violation of decorum will lead to disqualification.
