Debate Competition on ‘There is a Dire Need to Regulate Artificial Intelligence

Debate Competitions improve students' critical thinking and public speaking skills, enabling them to express and defend their perspectives with confidence. They also enhance research capabilities and promote a deeper grasp of complex topics, encouraging comprehensive analysis.

This year's topic is " There is a Dire Need to Regulate the Artificial Intelligence”," inviting participants to explore the impact of government control versus private ownership on various sectors. Teams will present compelling arguments and engage in dynamic discussions to highlight their perspectives.

 

The Faculty of Law & Arts is organizing a Debate Competition for the students of VII th Semester (BA-LL.B & BBA-LL.B.)

  • Time duration                         : 1 hour
  • Date of the event                    : 12.09.2024 (Thursday)

About the Activity

This Debate Competition will be conducted for the students of VII th Semester (BA-LL.B & BBA-LL.B.)

Topic: - “There is a Dire Need to Regulate the Artificial Intelligence”

 

Rules:

  • Each speaker shall be given 4 minutes to speak.
  • If a speaker crosses the limit of four minutes, he/she may face deduction of marks.
  • Medium of Communication will be in English and assistance from written manuscript shall not be allowed.
  • The decision of judges would be final and binding on all contestants.
  • There will be two winners – one is from (For the motion) and one is from (against the motion).
  • Winners will be awarded with the certificates.
