Key Road Safety Features Highlighted
- Traffic Signals and Signs – Understanding and obeying traffic lights, stop signs, pedestrian crossings, and speed limits.
- Use of Seat Belts and Helmets – Educating drivers and two-wheeler riders on the importance of seat belts and helmets in reducing fatal injuries.
- Avoiding Drunk Driving – Emphasizing the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and the strict penalties associated with it.
- Speed Control Measures – Encouraging adherence to speed limits and explaining the impact of over-speeding on accidents.
- Lane Discipline and Overtaking Rules – Demonstrating the importance of maintaining lanes and the hazards of reckless overtaking.
- Use of Mobile Phones While Driving – Raising awareness about the risks of distracted driving due to mobile phone usage.
- Pedestrian Safety – Encouraging the use of zebra crossings and footpaths for safe pedestrian movement.
- Emergency Response Awareness – Training participants on first-aid measures and the importance of emergency helplines in case of accidents.
