Navratra Celebration at RNBGU

With the onset of festival season in the country RNBGU organized Navratra celebration to celebrate the spirituality and festive mood of this eight days long event. The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Durga and then by performing different cultural activities.

The dress code for the event was ethnic wear and traditional Dandiya dress for the participants. The dance competition was divided into three rounds i.e. Garba, Dandiya and Prop. The event was epitome of energy and enthusiasm, which transformed the campus into colorful canvas of celebration. Students dressed in traditional attire, sounds of dhol and the clapping of Dandiya sticks made the whole environment positive and exuberant.

Various competitions were held and prizes were distributed like Mr. Aditya Vikram Bothra from B.Com (H)-Final year won the musical chair competition while Ms. Riya and Mr. Sourabh from B.Sc-Second year won the Best Dandiya Dancer female and male respectively. Mr. Darshan Jain from BBA II year won the Talent competition while Ms. Toshita Joshi from BBA-Final year and Mr. Amit from BA LLB-First Year won the best Dressed Female and Male respectively.

It was a celebration of mirth and joviality bringing the entire campus, together on special occasion and helping everyone bond warmly bringing hidden talents to light. The other half of the evening was planned to sway the tired feet & rejuvenation was on the crest on the beats of DJ. For all RNBian’s it was definitely a night to be remembered and cherish for the lifetime.
